XtravaganZa, also known as XZ Immersive Festival, is a two-day electronic music and DJ event held at the Radisson Blu Taghazout Bay Surf Village. The 2026 edition runs on 5 and 6 June. It is part of the broader XperienzA Festival brand, which positions itself as an “immersive” experience by integrating music performance with visual art, light installations, and the surrounding landscape.

The Setting

The Radisson Blu Taghazout Bay resort sits directly on the Atlantic coast a short distance south of Taghazout village, within the purpose-built Taghazout Bay development. The outdoor event space faces the ocean, which gives the festival an unusually open backdrop for an electronic music event. Performances take place as the sun sets over the water, and the light shows become more prominent after dark. The resort’s facilities are available to festival attendees, including food and bar services.

Music and Artists

XZ Immersive focuses on house, techno, and broader electronic genres, with a lineup that typically includes both international DJs and Moroccan artists with regional followings. The two-day format allows for extended sets and a slower, more relaxed pace than a single-day event. Acts tend to be announced on the official website and social channels in the weeks leading up to the event.

Tickets and Entry

XtravaganZa is a ticketed event. Prices for the 2026 edition and booking links are available via xperienzafest.com. Day passes and weekend passes are usually offered. Given the limited capacity of the venue and the popularity of the Taghazout Bay location, booking in advance is recommended, particularly for the weekend pass.

Getting There

The Radisson Blu Taghazout Bay is accessible by road from Taghazout in under 10 minutes. Taxis from the village typically charge 20-30 MAD for the short journey. If you are coming from Agadir, the drive is around 25 minutes north along the coastal road. Parking is available at the resort, though arriving by taxi avoids any issues with late-night departures.

Tips for Visitors

June is a comfortable month to be on the Taghazout coast. Daytime temperatures reach around 24-26°C, and evenings cool noticeably once the sun drops. Bring a light jacket if you plan to stay through the later sets. The Atlantic-facing setting means wind can pick up after dark, especially in the open spaces between stages.

If you are extending your stay in the area around the festival, our practical guide to Taghazout covers what June conditions look like for both surf and general travel, including typical swell and crowd levels at that time of year.
